About Tera
Tera Business Finance LTD ("Tera") provides commercial finance brokerage services to UK businesses and approved referral partners. Tera Business Finance LTD is an Appointed Representative of Moorgate Finance Limited (trading as Moorgate Broker Network), which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under firm reference number 662419. Tera Business Finance LTD is registered in England and Wales (company number 17317233). Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Tera is a credit broker, not a lender. We do not provide finance ourselves. We help you understand options and, where appropriate, introduce your enquiry to finance providers from our available panel.
Our services
Our services may include: reviewing your funding enquiry; advising on suitable finance types; helping you prepare an application; introducing your case to one or more finance providers; coordinating information requests; and communicating status updates. We do not guarantee that finance will be available, approved, or on particular terms. All finance is subject to status, eligibility, affordability checks and the finance provider's criteria.
Your responsibilities
You must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. You must tell us promptly if anything material changes. You must not use our services for unlawful purposes. Where you apply on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to do so and to share relevant information with Tera and finance providers.
Fees and remuneration
Tera may receive commission or other remuneration from finance providers following a successful introduction. Where a customer fee applies, we will disclose it before you agree to proceed. Partner referral fees are payable to approved partners under separate partner terms and do not change the terms offered to the end customer. We do not quote rates, give approval decisions, or recommend a specific product without appropriate broker review.
Introductions and data sharing
By submitting an application or enquiry, you authorise Tera to contact you about your request. Before sharing your information with a finance provider, we will obtain any consent or confirmation required. You may withdraw from an application before completion subject to work already undertaken and any contractual obligations with a provider.
Communications
We will communicate with you using the contact details you provide, including email and telephone. Transactional messages about your enquiry or application are part of our service. Marketing communications are sent only where permitted and you may opt out at any time.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with our service, please see our Complaints procedure or contact info@terabusinessfinance.com. You may also be able to refer unresolved complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service where applicable.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Tera is not liable for decisions made by finance providers, for delays outside our reasonable control, or for loss arising from inaccurate information you provide. Our liability for loss arising from our brokerage services is limited to the extent permitted by law and regulation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to your statutory rights.
